Calling all kids, parents, grandparents and animals! This year’s Chinese New Year’s parade will be the biggest, loudest, and most colorful ever! March, dance or hop down Winslow Way in hand-made rat masks or costumes.

Bring your pet Rats [or mice or hamsters--in their cages, please] to join the fun! All other Chinese zodiac animals--Oxen, Tigers, Rabbits, Dragons, Snakes, Horses, Sheep or Goats, Monkeys, Roosters, Dogs and Pigs are invited too.

2007 Chinese New Year CelebrationBring drums, noisemakers, horns, kazoos and add to the festivities. We promise a lively and memorable experience for all who participate! Follow up with your school’s Art teacher to see if he/she is planning to participate. Most schools will be having a delegation of marchers, so join the fun!

All bikers! Dress in Chinese costume if you have, decorate the bikes and carry your family, shopping, bed rolls etc. on it, use your imagination and let us have fun doing the parade.
